HEALTH Omega 3 Deficiency Research

Harvard University researchers have analyzed massive amounts of data to determine the impact of 12 dietary, lifestyle and metabolic risk factors such as tobacco smoking and high blood pressure, and used a mathematical model to determine how many fatalities could have been prevented if better practices had been observed.

While we are all aware how damaging, for example, tobacco smoking is to general health, it was amazing that omega-3 deficiency proved to be a major factor, responsible for as many as 96'000 death cases in the US per year: http://www.nutraingredients-usa.com/Research/Omega-3-deficiency-causes-96-000-US-deaths-per-year-say-researchers

HEALTH Brain Cancer Frequency Treatment Video

Here is a video about a study being carried out at 12 medical centers around the country to test the use of frequencies against brain cancer. This brain cancer "zapper" someday, so it is hoped, can replace the chemo and radiation now used for cancer therapy: http://videos.howstuffworks.com/sciencentral/3190-brain-cancer-zapper-video.htm

HEALTH Fungus Frequency Research

While many of the studies undertaken with frequencies concern cancer -- because it has become accepted that low intensity frequencies will influence the growth of cancer cells -- this one here researched how frequencies will influence the growth of fungus in vitro. They are actually two separate studies.

HEALTH Cancer Specific Frequencies Research

This is one of the more amazing studies as it has been registered with the Government (though carried out in Switzerland), published and can be found in PubMed. It shows that systemic treatment with frequencies is possible and showing great promise in the treatment of cancer. The full article can be bought on PubMed, I do have it but I can't link it because of copyrights: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19366446.

Who would have thought, just years ago, that we would see such studies carried out and actually published...

HEALTH Excellent Series on Parasites on Animal Planet

Dr. Clark talks much about parasites and their importance, but her books are not very graphic. POLITICS FDA and FTC in the Courts

Recently there has been increased court action against the FDA and the FTC (Federal Trade Commission). The FTC has recently lost a case against the LaneLabs company, who made some claims about their products. The court decided that the FTC's contention that those claims were false claims, was incorrect: http://www.nutraingredients-usa.com/Regulation/Court-rules-against-FTC-in-supplement-ad-case/

Meanwhile, the most well known attorney in the field of alternative medicine and health freedom, Jonathan Emord, has sued the FDA over censorship. The FDA, despite scientific evidence, withdrew 13 statements legal to make about vitamins C and E and cancer. The FDA's list of allowed statements is important, because if a statement is not on the list, it is likely to be considered "fraudulent" or it might "turn" a nutrient into a pharmaceutical product, if additional statements are made about it. Jonathan Emord contends that the FDA's action is in contempt of earlier court orders. http://www.nutraingredients-usa.com/Regulation/FDA-sued-over-antioxidant-health-claim-censorship/

HEALTH AND POLITICS Why "Modern" Medicine is the Greatest Threat to Health

Years ago JAMA (Journal of the American Medical Association, one of the leading medical journals worldwide) stated that every year in the US and in hospitals alone, 225'000 died FROM medical treatment (mostly, as a side effect of pharmaceutical drugs).

This article here goes into more detail and looks at why this might be so and how it has little to do with how much money is spent on the health care system -- an interesting aspect in the context of the proposed health care reform:
